A plain-language overview of how the current public beta is designed to handle scanner requests.
Scanner requests
Chain Guard receives the token mint address you submit so the server can perform the requested scan. The beta does not require a wallet connection or transaction signature.
Technical information
The server may temporarily process ordinary technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP addresses, request timestamps, error information and rate-limit counters. The current in-memory rate limiter is designed to prevent abuse and resets as server state changes.
Third-party data providers
To produce a scan, Chain Guard sends relevant public blockchain identifiers to supported infrastructure and market-data providers. Do not submit secrets, private keys or seed phrases to the scanner.
No wallet secrets
Chain Guard will never need your seed phrase or private key to perform a read-only token scan. If a page claiming to be Chain Guard asks for one, do not provide it.
